Dr. Carey is a highly accomplished sociologist and organizational consultant with decades of experience spanning the banking, insurance, marketing, education, and corporate training sectors. His professional journey includes leadership and advisory roles with institutions such as Chase Manhattan Bank, Crown Life Insurance, Amway Corporation, Laser International Freight Transport, and the Illinova Corporation, where he directed leadership development initiatives.
With a Ph.D. in Sociology specializing in Social Psychology from Oklahoma State University,
Dr. Carey also holds a Master’s in Social and Industrial Psychology with a concentration in Labor Economics and Human Resource Development. His academic path began with a B.Sc. in Psychology and a minor in Sociology, earned through Oakwood College and Oklahoma State University.
Dr. Carey has pursued post-doctoral studies with the U.S. Social Security Administration and the International Labour Organization, reflecting his global approach to workforce development and institutional systems. His cross-sector expertise and academic grounding make him a trusted voice in organizational strategy, leadership education, and social impact initiatives.
